We have also been notified of the dates for the National Curriculum tests for 2010, these will affect our current Y6 children, they are as follows. Monday 10th May until Friday 14th May 2010. Parents are asked not to book holidays during this period, or the two weeks prior to the tests, and to note that absences, other than due to illness, will be recorded as unauthorised and be reported to the appropriate Officers of the LEA. The dates for the Key Stage 2 tests in 2011 are not yet available but will be in June not May as in previous years. Parents must not book holidays for pupils who will be in Y6 in 2011 without consulting the Headteacher or they might find themselves with a penalty notice. |
